Session 1 : 30. April (Wed) 3.00 pm
1)Each of us will nominate a scholar who we’ve worked on, and give a 5-10 minute introduction to their main works, interesting thoughts and influences.Please let the group know who your scholar of choice is.
2)If everyone can bring a timeline/mindmap of the theorists/philosophers who feature in their work, or whom they think may be relevant in their future research.
What I’d like to do is attempt to link together these different groups, and identify the main schools of thought/disciplines and methods that inform their method.
Any books that you have which try to give an overview of critical research into technology would be handy to bring along.
This should be a fun and interactive session, which should leave us with a framework which we can refer to during future sessions and during the process of literature review.
